Polished

                                                                                        Polished

Psalm 144:12

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as
corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

"Polish", I heard Abba say as I worked in my classroom.  I had been wondering in my heart about this quiet  season of anticipation. There was an unspoken question: "Abba what is going on?!?  This stillness even in the midst of movement."  I sense the forward momentum! And yet....... When He said," Polish", I thought of Psalm 144:12.  What is Abba saying? Well polish suggests the smooth, shining, or bright surface from which light is reflected, often produced by rubbing or friction. Aha!  Okay God, I am listening.  There is a polishing in effect! That is synonymous with being finished, refined or brought to a pure state, to separate a mixture into pure parts. Be encouraged, you are being polished, too! How so? By the friction you are experiencing! That situation or even person that has been "rubbing" you the wrong way? Abba is using it to polish you! Why? There is to be no "mixture" when Abba uses you, nothing soulish or carnal. There is to be a purity when we speak the Word over situations and circumstances. None of us and all of Him!  He is requiring more of His Bride, the Body of Christ. Polish! See how Abba takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it to good. For friction is a physical force that has to do with resistance. As you resist the devil,( he has to flee), there comes friction: a conflict, a clash, disagreement, discord with the enemy of our souls. We are in spiritual warfare!

"... the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault,
and violent men seize it by force as a precious prize."

Through the friction of resistance, Abba Father perfects you!  Polishing you that you might reflect His light.       Polishing us, that the Light of the World shines wherever we are! But wait there is more, because the scripture says we are "polished after the similitude of a palace."   That speaks to a large capacity and ability. Our capacity to receive from Abba Father is being enlarged. Glory!  Abba is speaking of prevailing, overcoming power!  Continue to endure and resist the enemy, Beloved! It is a set-up, for God has built  us up to be able to stand and to overcome. It is God's workmanship! When the friction comes know this. In one simple word, "polish", we, wonderfully and fearfully made, (carved out like a palace!), are being made to shine out the Kingdom of God.

                                             Proverbs 4:18

But the path of the just is as the shining light,
that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Shine on!

There are many trees and plants and we can get pleasant environment with trees and plants. We can get painting also which are very attractive. We can decorate our homes with beautiful paintings. We like to gift these paintings to others.
